with Photoshop and Illustrator
Originally published: 1999. Publisher: New Riders Publishing. ISBN-10: 0735709696.
This book offers unique insight into how a master

years of digital image-making, demonstrate the breadth of 3-D photorealistic
results that can be achieved using 2-D illustrative tools.
This oversize paperback features useful techniques
from real-world projects. In many cases, we get to see the progress
of an image, starting with the most basic elements: the sketch
in Adobe Illustrator. From there, Monroy takes the Illustrator

The Official Adobe Photoshop Handbook
Originally published: 1990. Authors: David Biedny, Bert Monroy. Publisher: Bantam Computer Books. ISBN-10: 0553348760.
This was the first book ever written on Photoshop.
It was the only book for almost two years. David Biedny and Bert
Monroy were able to compile the information due to the fact that
they were working with Photoshop before Adobe purchased it from
the Knoll brothers. Though it was written for version 1.2, release
was held to coincide with the release of version 2.0. The first
chapter covered the features of the new version.
